Paul Carlson Associates was founded in 1988 and has grown to become a team of safety and health professionals. We are based in the Portland, Oregon area and most of our practice is in the Pacific Northwest.

Our core practice is industrial based, with major work in the forest products, food processing, and chemical industries. Indoor Air Quality services take us into the Health Care industry, and both commercial and public buildings.

The PCA staff includes both Certified Industrial Hygienists and Safety Professionals. Associates have industry experience in health and safety in addition to a variety of educational backgrounds in chemistry, environmental studies, education, and building systems.

Our mission is to provide customized high value services to clients, with the mutual interest in improving employee safety and health.
